How hiring a party kit works
From choosing your kit to bringing it back, here’s what happens and when.
Step by step
Choose what you’d like
The party tableware kit or The whole party for your number of guests, then your colours, then any extras and games. Or skip the tableware and just hire games and extras. You’ll see an estimate as you go, and it’s normally the price.
Send your enquiry
Tell us your party date and how to reach you. You can send a question without picking anything, too. Nothing to pay yet.
Get your quote
Your date is checked and you get a link to your quote by email. It shows everything you’re hiring, your collection and return times, and the exact price. You can pay the quote until the date shown on it, usually 7 days. Your date is booked once you’ve paid.
Pay to book
Tick to agree to the hire terms and pay online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your booking is confirmed as soon as you’ve paid, and you’ll get an email with the collection address, directions and a checklist of everything in your box. It’s your receipt, too: there’s no bank transfer or invoice.
Collect it
Collect your box from our home in Frome, usually the day before your party, at the time on your quote. You’ll get a reminder email the day before.
Have your party
Bring it back
Usually up to 2 days after your party, at the time on your quote. You’ll get a reminder email on the day.
Collecting and bringing it back
Everything is collected from and brought back to our home in Frome, Somerset. The address comes in your booking confirmation, so it isn’t on the website. There’s no delivery, but your party can be anywhere, as long as you can collect the box and bring it back.

What you can hire
The party tableware kit
For 20 guests: 20 cups, 20 plates and 20 bowls, 2 jugs, 4 serving platters, 3 tablecloths, bunting, a birthday crown and a few free extras. Bigger kits get 5 more cups, plates and bowls for every 5 more guests.
The whole party
The kit, cutlery, hot drinks and any 2 games, in one booking. Cheaper, but only if you want all four.
Extras
Cutlery, hot drinks (an urn and mugs), party games and a cupcake box. Add them to the kit, or hire them on their own.
Your colours
A ready-made set like Rainbow or Pastel, or your own mix, chosen item by item.
20 is the smallest kit: a smaller party pays the 20 price and has a few spare.

Done for you
Add washing up when you choose your items. Scrape the food off, pack everything back in the box, keep the bunting separate, and bring it back. The rest is done for you.
You do it
Everything is dishwasher-safe up to 70°C. Dry each piece with a tea towel before it goes back in the box, so nothing goes mouldy.
Either way, check everything’s there against the checklist in your confirmation email.
If your plans change
Cancel before you collect, and we refund everything except £5. If we ever have to cancel, you get everything back. The details are in the hire terms.
